Relating Biblical Last Days to Today

For centuries people have been convinced we were in the last days according to Bible prophecy, however, a careful reading of the Book of Revelation (notice it doesn’t have an S) proves that the technology to fulfill prophecy hasn’t existed until today. I always warn you of technology and people who are very dangerous to our survival and success as children of God. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a HUGE threat. DO NOT take this technology lightly or allow it into your home. Right now my social media outlets are asking me to allow AI to evaluate and write my thoughts. HELL NO!!! (I am using Hell on purpose to make a point in case you are one of those “skimmers” who don’t catch all the nuances of one writing) God gave me a brain with conscience and discernment. I will not trade that for some evil people and a computer-generated ideology to turn my thoughts into theirs!

As far as people go, watch Taylor Swift VERY CLOSELY. And I don’t mean go to her concerts, but “see” her satanic symbols, words, actions, and life by RESEARCHING her in-depth. It is right in front of you if you choose to see… (hint: research her name with satanic videos) Keep your children and grandchildren far away.

God says the thief comes in SHEEP’S clothing but they are really a wolf coming to steal and KILL! (John 10:10) Satan is after your children and he definitely uses her and other so-called celebrities to invade your home. Tread carefully and read 2 Timothy 3 over and over until you fully understand what it teaches us. It is not long, but extremely important to keeping your eyes and ears open.

2 Timothy 3: “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

“They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. [Pray for discernment when choosing churches to attend and pastors to follow] They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.”

A Final Charge to Timothy

“You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which can make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

2 Timothy 3 starts with “mark this” which means pay close attention, write it in your heart, and know what to expect so that you can SEE it when it happens. As you read that first paragraph, you can see we are living in those times. People are selfish and try to find ways to get what they want by squandering what they worked hard to earn. People want an easy, materialistic world, filled with the “pleasures” of sex, drugs, alcohol, games, and experiences; just about anything that doesn’t take hard work or effort. We are here. Coldness and godlessness abound. People who call themselves “woke” try to convince us who have morals and God in our hearts that mayhem, murder, rape, robbery, killing babies in the womb, and INJUSTICE for anyone who disagrees with this so-called “freedom” is to be “rightly” persecuted! Do not listen to them, let them sway you, or change your value system for one that values laziness and pleasure over godly principles and actions! Paragraph two is very clear that those who are on the fence or not godly will easily fall into this trap of debauchery and give themselves to the things of this world rather than living a righteous life, pleasing God, and helping others.

Finally, in paragraph 3, the Bible tells us the actions and traits God expects. Timothy was a young man when he joined Paul and others in spreading the gospel. His mother had raised him in the ways of God so he had a steadfast and persevering lifelong education. He was prepared for the plans God had for him and followed that plan. He is a wonderful example for us.

The last paragraph in 2 Timothy 3 tells him he has now finished his spiritual education and is well-trained to go out on his own and serve God. He is warned to expect persecution and do not be misled by seeing ungodly people appear to succeed. (we all face judgment day) He is taught, encouraged, trusted, and complimented. He has earned the right to be called a righteous child of God. He has been given the privilege of teaching others and leading them up a righteous path to heaven. He has been stamped a highly valued servant and child of God, by God.

Can you say the same? We are all called to be righteous, avoid the “things of this world” and serve God. To be and do what is right, we must think and act with discernment and moral values. I implore you to Read 2 Timothy 3 as many times as necessary to stir your Spirit into action and follow God’s plan for your life. Be Timothy. Amen.

Jeremiah 29:11 –  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
