Your Thoughts and Words Matter

As I have said many times, the Internet and social media are more of a scourge to society than a benefit. Add AI into the mix, and we have a barrage of information that we can neither confirm nor deny. We are constantly being fed propaganda, lies, and a partial telling of the truth. Then on social media, we have “clickbait.” If you don’t know what that is, it is what appears to be an intriguing or interesting story headline that leads to absolutely nowhere. (More lies) The page owner is simply trying to get “clicks or comments” on their post to either get paid, prove their relevancy, or both. No matter how you look at it, we are surrounded by a world of lies, propaganda, and people trying to manipulate HOW we think! Pretty scary…

Most of us are so overwhelmed with information, most of which is MISinformation, that each day our heads ache and are spinning by the time we lie down to rest. It is no wonder that few people can get a restful night of sleep. So many swirling thoughts that we KNOW are lies that we can’t shut our minds down long enough to recover. Day after day of sleepless nights and bombardment of MISinformation is causing us to be mentally and physically exhausted while our soul is trying to teach us the truth. Most of us can barely function in the midst of all this confusion!

Think about the following scripture verses and meditate on why God warned us about this time in history MANY millennia ago:

Joshua 1:8 “Meditate on THE Word night and day” (Keep your mind free from worldly things, for they will just confuse and mislead you. Focus on God, and much will be revealed to you)

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

Matthew 24:11 “There will be MANY false prophets” (Intimating they will speak for God, but are NOT of God)

The “emotional” world will become cold. Not peace and compromise, but DIVISION!

Luke 12:52-53 “From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” (This is telling us DIVISION will become so bad that even family members who normally love, protect, and support each other will hate each other. The division will be so deep that even the most intimate and dependable relationships will be destroyed by feelings and disagreements. Respect has been abolished within our societal norms. If families are so divided, what should be expected from the rest of the world? Much, much MORE division, hate, and disagreements. We are here now!

Bad will be good and good will be bad. Isiah 5:20 “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (People will call wrong, (bad) right and what is right/righteous, wrong)

2 Timothy 3:1-7 “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

(Read that last sentence carefully: “ALWAYS LEARNING, BUT NEVER COMING TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH.” Isn’t that our modern age with computers, social media, and AI? We are supposedly always learning, [an overabundance of information], but I tell you this is “smoke and mirrors,” many are fake images PRETENDING TO BE THE TRUTH, but most of it is NOT The Truth!! Beware, for this is the time Jesus warned us about.

Colossians 3:2 “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”

Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and HE will establish your plans.”

1 Corinthians 10:31 “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

Proverbs 23:12 “Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge.” (Not the instruction of man, but the TRUTH of God)

Why is the majority of this sermon Bible scriptures, with commentary by me in ( )? Because it is the TRUTH of the Bible that can speak to us, make us truly understand what we must know and avoid ungodly thoughts and speaking words that the Bible tells us are wrong! God warned us that this time was coming. It is high time to ignore AI, the lies that swirl around you, and FOCUS on THE WORD OF GOD. In complete humility, I say the following:

Do I think my knowledge and ability to lead any person to righteousness is higher than the ACTUAL WORDS of God? NO! It is the Bible scriptures that can lead you to the truth and change your behavior, thoughts, feelings, and life so that they are pleasing to God. DO NOT call yourself a devoted Christian if you cannot follow the scriptures mentioned above, because these are the very specific warnings and words that were written by God to navigate us through this time in history. When you cannot tell the truth from the lies, read God’s Word, and the Holy Spirit will lead you to the truth. Remember, you are not of this world. It is high time you quit thinking and acting like you are of this world, but rather show everyone that you belong to the Kingdom of God! Amen! Love, hugs and blessings, Lisa ><>
